Regarding the death of Robert Bayliss, a married man, who was electrocuted while working on electric lines in Gladstone Road on December 24 ,tlie Coroner (Mr. H. W. GORED BY A BULL. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 22. Severe injuries were received by Unali Mackie, 10, who was gored by a bull at Cashmere yesterday. In this manner the most inaccessible places were covered.] CARS COLLIDE THROUGH SWARM OF BEES. NAPIER, Jan. 22. An unusual motor accident occurred near rapier this morning. When a swarm of bees made for a car owned by Mr. Do re and driven by Mrs. Dore the latter applied the brakes and brought the car to a sudden standstill Another car driven by Mr. Scarrott which was following close behind, crashed into the rear of the first car, both vehicles being severely damaged. A hroken windscieen in Mr. Scarrott’s car caused facial injuries to Mrs. Scarrott, who was taken to hospital, but her injuries are not serious. Some time after the accident occurred both vehicles were still covered with crawling bees. —I A.

BATHING MISHAP. AUCKLAND, Jan. 23. Burley Smith, aged six years, got out of his depth at Point Chevalier while bathing this afternoon and was rescued just in time and sent to hospital. His condition is not serious.—P.A.
