AN “UNDESIRABLE”
X.Z. CRIMINAL ARRESTED IN . SYDNEY. (Received Nov. 5, 7.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. o. Anting upon a cable from the New 1 Zealand police. Sydney detectives arrested Mervyn John Cudby.upon arrival of the Manuka. He was subsequently charged with having fifteen detonators in his possession with intent to steal. The Magistrate, in sentencing C!ud J by to six months’ imprisonment, declared he was an undesirable visitor to New South Wales. Cudby said he was released from prison three months ago raid l secured work, but the police told his employers what he was, and consequently iio could not keep a job.—U.P.A,
