CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. -I, When the application for a lar.d agent’s license by Bert Munns, private inquiry agent, again c-aiilo- before the Court this morning, the Agents’ Association still opposed it, and Mumis said lie would not proceed. The police superintendent then replied to allegations that the police bad broil bribed in- this c-ase. He said the author of tlio allegations was a contemptible liar and “assassin of men’s characters.”
The Magistrate said the allegations were unworthy of nut ice. He gave costs !i""ln't Munns. —Press Assn.
