BOMBASTIC STATEMENT BY CHANCELLOR. BERLIN, Oct. 28. Addressing the Centre Party. Dr. JL-trx, the Chancellor, demanded that Germany should be freed from milttaiy supervision and Germany’s colonies restored, thus enabling her to obtain raw materials in exchange for manufactured goods. He described Germany’s responsmility for the war as a fairy tale, and expressed Germany’s willingness 1 to co-cpe:nte in disarmament.—Reuter
