The Senior-Scrgt. said that the injured man was in the hospital and would not ho able to appear for some time. *
Mr -T- S- Ywauchop who appeared for the accused applied for bail. Be said there was no reason to make the bail substantial as the accused had dene nothing ho was ashamed of except that the consequences were more serious than lie anticipated. From what he (counsel), knew of the case, ho hoped that a son of his would have acted the same under similar circumstances. « A remand until November 6 was granted, bail being alhvod in self of £SO and two sureties of £SO each.
