BRIGHT PRODUCTION AT OPERA HOUSE. Apparently the “first Lighters” had spread the news of the success or "Florodora,” the well-known two act musical comedy, staged by the G sborne Amateur Operatic Society, under Mr. Theo. Tresize. for there was a large attendance last night of interested and delighted play-goers at tiie Opera House. As Dolores, the farm girl on the “island set in an Eastern sea,’’ Mrs Ralph Wildish repeated her successes. and her vocal numbers were even j better in all respects than at the op- I oning performance. scored another great success, especially in his nrincin.d solo, "In the Shade of the Palm," which was tne most popular number of the evening and was enthusiastically, applauded, the catchv songs being repeated. Miss Doris Webb repeated her successful characterisation of Lady Holyrood. The fun of tho play wms well placed in the hands of Messrs V . J. S-incxnr as C’vrus Gdrain, and A. Zachanan as Profesosr Twediepimeh, and the audience was kept in cunt nunits laughter when these performers were on the stage. Miss Lucy Wheeler was again popular as .tngela G.lrajn and air J. A. Nicol gave a cred.tao.e renderhm of tiie character of Lean-
dro, an overseer. The various choruses proved very popular, especially the wed-known sextette. “Toll Me .Pretty MaMen in- Messrs !>. Haaclie, A. Allan, H. W G’'bbs T. File. W. Me League, and y/ Vm-Oure, and Misses Davidson. Moran. E. Zacluinah. Ggier, Raeburn and D.
