NO CARGO OFFERING
As it was found impossible to obtain an outward cargo for the Norwegian steamer Luise Nielsens, she left lier berth at Melbourne on October 7th and took up an anchorage in the bay. At present, it- is said,- there is no prospect of dispatching the vessel until there are wheat cargoes offering. A delay of three months is therefore possible, and it was decided that the crow should be paid off. As the sailors shipped at a Norwegian port, they refused to accept their discharge except under conditions unfavorable to the master. All hands will remain aboard during the vessel’s stay at Melbourne.
