ROWING.
POVERTY BAY CLUB
The weekly committee meeting of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club was held last evening in the club house. Present Messrs D. G. Menzies (chairman), E. Stichbury, T. Sheen, E. Reid, 0. Penny, and D. G. Walker. It was decided to row the first trial fours on Friday, November 7, over the three-quarter mile course on the Tarahcru river. Mr A. McConnell was appointed starter, and Mr ,T. 11. O’Neil judge. Messrs Black and Berwick were elected active members of the club. Messrs Penny, Walker, and Michie were appo-inlcd a Visiting Committee for the ensuing week.
