LAST NIGHT OF 'CAMEO KIRBY’ AND “THE POWER WITHIN.” ' John Gilbert, with a splendid supporting cast, will make his last appearance at the Palace Theatre tonight in the. sensational story of a gambler’s life, .“Cameo Kirby,” a dramatic play that introduces everything in the sporting world that gamblers use to win. “Power Within” starring W. EL. Tooker, is another big dramatic attraction on the bill. The auxiliary pictures on the res tor are full oi brilliant enter tainmeat.

Commencing at the matinee tomorrow, Thomas Meighan, one of the greatest, film favorites, will he presented in the favorite-story by Booth Tarkington, “Pied Piper Malone.” Lois Wilson and a big Paramount cast will assist in making the story one of the most vivid plays ever presented. It revolves Ascii into a desperate tale of men, money, jealousy and marriage. The supporting pictures include Joe Rock and a clever combination of fun makers in a screening farce, “Rolling Home.” the- Burton Holmes new travelogue, and the Paramount news. “Pod Piper Malone” ic a theme much after the poem by Browning, but treated in an entirely different manner. And Thomas Meighan is the Pied Piper of to-day. Here is a brand*new angle on Ills artistry. He is the eh Idren-s hero, a captain in love and in trouble. But the kiddies put everything right. Lois Wilson plays' the lead. George Pawnett hen/fc, the male dementi, and there are some wonderful kiddies in the picture. The mntiiieo tomorrow will start at 2. The plan is at Muir’s. There ia no extra charge for hooking.
