DUNEDIN Oct. 23 A conference of South Island shipping interests, representing Chambers of Commerce, importers, exporters and producers, was held to-day to discuss nays and means of improViiur the services of the South Island, overseas and coastal. Representatives were prevent from Christchurch, Ashburton, Timaru, Invercargill, and Dunedin.
