By Telegraph—Special Correspondent WELLINGTON, July 23. • lie officer commanding the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces telegraphed'to the New Zealand Defence Minister recently a request that ten ext}'a medical men and 80 ambulance men should he sent forward to make up wastage that had occurred in the ranks of the Medical Corps. The recommendation that these reinforcements be sent has been approved andthey are to leave as soon as can he arranged. The Hon, It. H. Rhodes stated this evening that the Director of Medical Services (Colonel Purdy) and the" Director of Military Hospitals (Colonel VaJintine) had selected the ten officers to go. ,
