THE CONFERENCE CONCLUDED
Press Association Telegram.) , WELLINGTON, July 23. _ The sitting of the delegates of the Public Service Association to the annual conference was concluded to-day. A resolution was passed “That the conference of the executive council oi the Now Zealand Public .Service Association. on behalf of the Public Service of New Zealand, places on record its full confidence in the Public Service Appeal Board and expresses its appreciation at the fair and impartial manner in which it has carried out its functions.” During the morning the delegates waited upon the Public Service Commissioner and submitted to him the (result of their deliberations so lav as they affect his control of the service. ’ , , A sympathetic hearing was accorded t<> the deputation by the Commissioner, who promised to give lull consideration to the matters referred to. \t the unanimous desire of the delegates, Mr J.
