Replying to Air Anstev in the House to-day, tin* Premier said the matter of introducing legislation providing for the capitalisation of postponed rents of Settlement and Crown lands in eases where tenants are nimble to pay the postpon'd rents at the end of the jmstpoiior! period was receiving consideration. Mr Newman, asked the Prime Minister whether he will state what stc-ps (if any) lie has taken to form a National Cabinet. —Air .Massey replied that the matter leferred to is still under consideration. No statement such as suggested can be made at present. Replying to Air A Ivors, the .Minister for Defence said the' question _of the compilation of a national register of the males of serviceable age in the Dominion was under consideration. Replying to Air Myers, the Minister for Railways said experiments in regard to automatic devices lor level crossings had been sueeesstui, but, owing to the war, the necessary material is coming forward slowly.
