RETALIATION FOR POISON GAS

France has been converted into a vast- war mill. AI. Millerand, in the Senate, stated that the output of 7b millimetre guns had increased by 1100 per cent-., big guns 800. and mitrailleuses 1500 per cent. He observed: “Since the enemy have seen fit to dishonor war, let me toll them that to defend themselves and protect the lives of our children wo shall follow them in every field. We have formed suction gas asphyxiators, in which we collaborate with technicians of the army and the savants of the university.'”
