Regarding the ammonia piping, a tender for £11,361 6s Gd. for sufficient piping to provide a maximum slot age io-r ill,ooo sheep was accepted, hut the directors were reserving the right not to instal the whole, pending their knowledge as to .what support the farmers of the district will provide, as it is considered that- in order to warrant the directors in having the full freezing capacity equipped, another 3000 shares would require to bo placed. The directors iully realise that the maximum storage will be required next season, as it is admitted bv the Government and others that there will bo a greater scarcitv <>> ships next season than has hern experienced this season.
