The Rugby football competitions "'ere advanced another stage on Saturday. In the Junior Competition West End met and defeated Hign School by 8 points to 3. For West End Bean and McKfiague scored tries, one of which was converted by Malone. High School’s score was a trv by Ellery.

* In the Third Grade) match West End was also successful, defeating Kaiti City; by 9 points to nil. For tho winners Williams scored two tries and Robertson one.
