AN ALARMING BUT INCORRECT REPORT. “DOCTORS AND NURSES LAID UP.” “SHIP MUST COME BACK.” CHRISTCHURCH, July 18. The “Evening News” prints tinfollowing special message from AA'ellington : “It is reported by wireless from the hospital ship Malic-no that some of the doctors and nurses have been attacked by spinal meningitis. July IS. “The hospital ship Afaheno is going at full peed ahead, and ‘there is nobody ill at all." said the Minister for Defence. Hon. J. Allen, to-day.
