Mr E. -J. Chrisp. of Gisborne, yesterdav received a cable message, stating that his son. Private A.. Christ*, who was wounded, has rejoined his recipient. Corporal T. M. Blake, of the Wellington Battalion, whose name was given in yesterday’s list of wounded, was a ••borne man. having left here with, the contingent which departed on December 13. lie was employed in the freezing chamber at Messrs Nelson Bros.' freezing works, having been engaged at Taruhoru for over eight years. He was 23 years of age. and hailed from C.vai* ]jnl. Victoria. He left with the same draft as Private Chapman, another of the Taruhoru employers, who me reported killed in action a few weeks ago.
