WEDDING.

CAULFIELD —WHITE

A prettv wedding took place at the Baptist Tabernacle yesterday afternoon, when ' Mary, eldest daughter of Mr Samuel White, of County Antrim, Ireland, was united to John Porter, third son of Mr Robert Caulfield, County Londonderry. Ireland. A large number of friends witnessed the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. P. J. Waimvright. The church presented a very pretty appearance, having been specially decorated with flowers for the occasion by Mrs Bell. The bride, who was given awav by Air Robert Fleming, Mangapapa, looked charming in a. dainty frock of embroidered voile, with the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. The bride was attended by Alis-s Matilda Caulfield, sister of the brideoroom, who wore n. sutin striped voile, a,ul silk hat with large ostrich plume. She wore a gold chain, a present from tine, bridegroom. The duties of hosy man were ably carried out lvv Mr E. j) |p Vesey Fleming, Gisborne, cousin of the bridegroom. Altei the ceremony the bridal party drove to the Piccadilly tea rooms, where the reception was held. The bride s travelling costume was navy blue with hat to match. The happy couple were the recipients of many T,S( :’ t W presents. Mr and Mrs Caulfield left by last night’s steamer for Napier, thence bv the Alain Trunk line for Auckland and Rotorua, where the honeymoon is to be spent. Ihe bi'iaegroom’s gift to the bride was a g° ia watch.
