In connection with the silver frauds in 1913, the liquidator of the Indian Specie Bankihas brought a suit against nine directors of the bank claiming £1,110.000, the amount of the hank’s losses in the silver speculation and other impudent transactions, and also £155,000 for dividends and bonuses wrongfully paid out of capital.
