'['he Prime Minister and the Leader of thoj Opposition had; another conference to-day on the National Cabinet proposals, but no announcement was made consequent upon it. Mr. Massey stated this evening that all that lie could say about the state of the negotiations was that they were neither concluded nor broken off. They did not think it was probable that "a statement on the subject would be made until the House met to-morrow.
