— ——> THE RIVERINA'S VOYAGE. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, .July 7. The s.s. Riverina arrived from Sydney at noon. She took her departure from Sydney at noon on Thursday and did not see the sun or stars. Captain Entwistle depended entirely on dead reckoning till Sunday at 3 p.m., when he sighted land in the vicinity of Cape- Maria. He did nor obtain soundings until 10 on Sunday night, having boon cruising about off the North Cape for two days in thick weather. When the position "as located by soundings the vessel was thirtv miles E.N.E. of Cape Maria Dirty weather was experienced thence to port. Captain Entwistle was continuously on the brdge from 4 hursday night till Sunday night. The Riverina. sustained no damage.
