Stem,son took 7 wickets for 37 runs. Grafton in the follow-on lost 4 wickets for 123 before stumps were drawn (C. Hay 31, Co'teil 24, and Mason 24 not out). DUNEDIN MATCHES. [Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Jan. 31. The cricket matches were continued yesterday in showery weather. Heavy rain fell on Friday night, making the wickets soft. Carisbrook A defeated Carishrook B on the first innings. The former made 203 and the latter 187 and 12 for no. wickets, when play was. stopped by rain Dunedin heat Grange' on the fust innings. The former declared their first innings closed with 3 *vi* 1 c-ts down for 218 (Wilson 1 27, Eckholu 54 ,not out). Grange made 133 and 170 for 3 wickets (C. Bell 109 not out). Albion secured a four-point win over Opolio, the former making 107 and 82 for five wickets (Drake -11 not oul). The latter made 61 (Lvilgour 37) and 25.
