APPROACHING- VISIT TO GISBORNE. The Alayor,. Air. AA'. D. Lysnar. lias been asked to arrange for the Prime Alinistcr to receive a number of deputations during his stay in Gisborne on Saturday. A deputation will probably be sent by the settlers on the Te Arai estate to interview Sir Jo-oph AA T ard on tho question of tho reading of the settlement, and the Progressive League will also bring a number of questions of public interest under the Prime Alinister's notice. So far tho East Coast Railway League has not arranged to send a deputation, but it is probable that tiie number of interviews with the Alinister already set down will be increased.
