SENT TO INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL

A series of charges of breaking and entering dwellings were preferred against three lads named Henry Stanley Person, 12* years, Alexander Frick 15 years 10 months, and Ernest Everitt 10 years. Sergt. Hutton conducted the prosecution and the boys, who were undefended, pleaded guilty. The first charge w.as against Person and Frick, that they did, on November 20th 1908, break and enter the wharo of one Daniel Shelling and steal 5s 4d, in money. The second count was against Person and Everitt of breaking into tho •same wharo and stealing os, and tho same two accused wore further charged with, breaking into the wharo of Samuel Oleary and John O’Brien, and stealing one packet of cigarettes and 1-id in cash, to the total value of 10-jjd. His Worship- ordered that .the hoys Erick and Person he sent to the Burnham Industrial school, and after rovercly admonishing the hoy Everitt and giving him some sound advice lie remanded him to appear again on February 2fitly in order that in the meantime he may have an opportunity, of improving his conduct.
