Messrs Dalgety and Co will offer the trawler Beatrice for sale by auction nt 12.15 p.m. to-day at thenwool stores. Read’s Quay. Messrs Hallenstein Bros advertise a ill umber of lines in gentlemen’s shirts of the latest fashion. Messrs Blair and Sainsburv .announce that they have moved into new offices in Childers Road, next to the Union S.S. Co.’s offices. Mrs Byrne, Gladstone Road, advertises a special display of magazines, Christmas gifts and dolls, and other toys. Mr C. P. Davies advertises that persons taking potatoes out of his paddock at Kaiti will he prosecuted. Messrs E. S. Malcolm and .Co. will hold a Christmas sale of poultry and produce at their rooms this morning, followed by a sale of furniture. This afternoon, at 2 o’clock, they will hold an unreserved sale of boots in the premises at the firebell corner, lately occupied by 'Mr J. Lang.
