In the Legislative Assembly, answering the question whether the Governor had received a reply from the Earl of Crewe to the resolution passed last session dealing with the Governor’s action in granting a dissolution, Mr. Kidston said that the House had made no representations to the Home authorities on the subject. The Governor had forwarded the resolution to the Earl of Crewe, and had received a confidential reply. The fact that the Governor had not been recalled indicated that the Homo authorities approved of his conduct. LONDON, Dec. 15.
