The Russian Admiralty Appeal Court confirmed the judgment of the Libau Prize Court, justifying Admiral Rozhdesvensky’s capture and destruction of the British, steamer Oldhamia, bound for Hong Kong, with a cargo of American oil, in 1905. ;

The Stanmore jam factory was completely destroyed by', fire. The damage amounted to £SOOO.
