Ten thousand women have been summoned for publication of a petition at Bilbao on behalf of a milliner sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment for killing a man to whom she had been betrothed and who had proved faithless. The Public Prosecutor asks for a day’s imprisonment for each woman who signed the petition, and four months for the writer of the petition.
