WANGANUI, Dec. 9. Training operations for the world’s sculling championship proceeded in the 'usual fashion to-day, both men covering the full course. It is expected that they will ease up after Saturday'. Whelcli to-day .accepted a challenge to row Fog well for £IOO at Akaroa. The Premier has signified his intention to witness the race for the sculling championship, and space has been reserved for him aml his party on the umpire’s boat.
