The Cabinet to-day authorised .votes for a District High School and Technical School at Hamilton, and for a Technical School building at Cambridge. Other votes passed, were £325 for the Westport Tec inn Oil School, £ISOO l'or the Man awatu river protection works, £350 for a hospital at Taumaranui, £385 for a school at Waiharara, Auckland, £SOOO for the Wellington-Manawatu railway tablet working, £I2OO for fixed signals for the same line, £2OOO tor the Wanganui District High School, £285 for Otnua School, £ISOO towards the erection of a drill shed at Dunedin; £OO,OOO was passed for railway construction works, and £40,000 for road votes.
