VESSELS IN PORT. Fair burn, a.s. Tlie U.S.S. Co.’s Manuka arrived from South' early on Saturday mornning and Sailed later for Auckland and Sydney. The scow -Rangi left for Tairua on Saturday morning to (load logs for Auckland.
The schooner Avlanui left on Saturday morning to load wool at Tologa for transhipment to the s.s. .Maori in the Bay. The U.S.S. Co.’s Alonowai returned from Auckland yesterday afternoon and continued her trip to Southern ports at night. The Shaw, Hivill and Albion Co.’s Alaori arrived from South yesterday afternoon to load frozen meat, wool, etc., of which she takes about 20,000 carcases and 1000 bales -respectively. Lading operations commence this morning, and she wild probably sail for AVellington to-morrow night. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tit ate a was timed to leave curly this morning for P-aka-rae to load 283 bales of wool for transhipment to the s.s. Alaori,
The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrives fnn Auckland this morning with general cargo, and returns in the evening.
The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora was working Tokomaru and Tuparoa yesterday, and should arrive here to-morrow. Tho ketch Coronation was due to leave AVhitianga on Saturday if (ho •wind w«s favorable. (She has n fus'd load of timber for sundry consignees. ■Owing to tho north-easter 'prevailing on Saturday evening and yesterday, both tho schooner Awanui and tho scow Rangi wore unable to proceed along the coast. The A-wl.inui was beating off Tuahine Point on. Saturday night, and liter came in to her anchorage in the Bay. The Rangi -returned to the Bay yesterday afternoon, but ias the wind veered round more to the east late in the afternoon both vessels deft -again -before dark.
