Tho fatter had ,a strong forward team, but several of the best outsiders were absent owing to the county championship. HALIFAX DEFEATS AUSTRALIAN LEAGUERS. Halifax, by 3 goals 2 tries, defeated the Leaguers, one goal 2 tries. Halifax scored a goal in the second half from penalties duo to tho Leaguers’ rough play. O’Malley was ordered off the field for deliberate obstruction.
