In the- senior grade City heat University by 161 runs on the first innings, City 366 (MacCormick 192 not out), University 205. Parnell and Gration played a draw. Resuming with three wickets down for 337, Parnell declared their first innings closed /at 362 for four wickets (Hutching 60 notout). Grafton mode 290 for nine wickets (Cottell 93, Jones 54, and Mason 39 not out). Ponsonby beat Eden colts by 18 on the first innings, Ponsonby 209, Eden colts 191 (Relf 87). North Shore beat Eden A. by 47 runs on the first innings, North Shore 200, Eden A. 153 (Cummings 54). Going in again North Shore made 168 for four wickets (Kallcnder 44). Bowling for North Shore Hadden took five wickets for 37 runs. There were no three-point wins secured in the senior gratae matches.

CHRISTCHURCH,i Dec. 5. The fourth round of the first-grade matches was continued this aftemoonin fine weather. Linwood, 264 (E. Humphreys; 100, F. Wilding 47, S. 11. Orchard 36), defeated East Christchurch, 158 and 101 (Warcl 28, Edmonds and Addison 18 each). West Christchurch 220 beat'Riocarton 111, by 108 runs oh the first innings. Sydenham 189 heat St. Albans 147 by 42 runs on the first innings. In their second' innings St. Albans scored 84 for 8 wickets.

Splendid weather prevailed yesterday. when the cricket .matches were continued. Dunedin beat Albion by 25 runs on the first innings. The former made 169 (Wilson 93) and Albion 144 (Drake 50 not out) and 69 for two wickets (Williams 33 not out). Carisbrook B beat Opoho by 170 runs on the first innings.
