He or-e-aimed and produced entertainments in Wellington, Xu pier, and other Xew Zealand towns some months ago, which proved a great success, and has roeentf.y been engpgod in similar work in Xew South Wales and Tasmania. The display chosen for production here is entitled "The Birth of the Empire,” wild a large number of performers are required, viz:, 4S to SO young ladies 16 years and upwards, 32 to 4S girls from S to 15 years of age, >md 16 to 24 boys from 10 to 14 years of ago, and S to 20 young gentlemen 16 years and npv.nrds. The actual numbers "will depend on the stage arrangements and cannot be decided until the Professor arrives. It is proposed to stage the disp’ny during the race week in February, and the committee will be pleased if Sadies and gentlemen who desire to assist will give their names to Lieut. .]{..
