GISBORNE BOWLING CLUB

A considerable number of members of the Gisborne Bowling Club assembled- on the club’s green yesterday afternoon, when several match games were played. The following are the results: — Champion Oup. —Williams 18, beat. Witty 18. Handicap Singles.—Corson (3) 26, beat Hansen (4) 12. Mclntosh (6) 35, beat Bullock (9) 18. Handicap Pairs.—H. Miller and Corson. (skip) (II) 25, heat T. Adair and Williams "(skip) (10) 15. Members of the club are reminded that to-day is the last day upon which matches in the first draw of the handicap pairs can be played. A number of matches -are still undecided, and it is understood that several will be played this afternoon.
