GISBORNE CLUB
Tliero was iaT very full muster of players on the green of tho Gisborne Bowling Club yesterday afternoon. The weather was admirably suited to bowling, and the green was extremely keen. Several club matches and a 'number of practice games aver© got off. During tho afternoon Mr. Norman Leslie was elected a member of the club. TURANGANUI CLUB
Tlio muster .at the Turanganui Club’s green yesterday lafternoon was the best of tlie season. Every link on the green was occupied, and a very enjoyable afternoon’-® play resulted, the green being »in excellent order. Some club matches and <a numher of practice games were got off. One member, Mr. A. Lawrie, was elected, and two candidates were proposed for membership. Afternoon tea, which Was much appreciated, was provided by Mrs. M. G. Nasmith.
