A DISAPPOINTED ADVENTURER.
A STOW-AWAY ON THE NIMROD
[Press Association.]
LYTTELTON, Dec. 2
Those oil board the Nimrod were much astonished yesterday as tho vessel passed out' of Lyttelton Heads to discover a boy . of 13 or 14 stowed away among the stores. Tho discovery was quite accidental, and the boy might have gone a long way before he was found. He said he wanted to go all the way. 'Naturally it was impossible to take him. A launch happened to come up soon afterwards, 'and the young adventurer was handed-, protesting vigorously, over to her. He wept bitterly at the disappointment. He is d Christcihair-ch boy; .and it is not beyond suspicion that his parents were not ignorant of his intention.
