POVERTY BAY CLUB,-
The double sculling races for Mr. C. Morse’s trophies were continued last night, when two heats were decided. W. Pritchard and G. Douglas (6sec) beat R. Huston and 11. Hobar (12sec) by half a length after a good race, and B. Karton and H. Holseliier (18sec) beat R. Jones and G. Whitfield (scr) by a quarter of a length after a great race. The races will be continued to-night. Entries for tlie next double, sculling races, for trophies presented by Mr. F. Harris, close on Saturday next.
