THURSDAY COMPETITION

For the match Cosmopolitan v. United, to be played to-morrow, on the Domain, at 2.30 p.m., the Cosmopolitan team will be picked from tho following: Maude, Ferris, Grin--1 niton, Roderick, Langdon, Austen, McLacblan, Whyte, Holmes, Bonsficld, Brennen, Andrews, Edwards, ■and Cary. The following will represent thoUnited Club against Cosmopolitan : Hallamore, Gorman, Armstrong, Dav--1 Lung, Moore-Sampsoli, Harro, GibsonJ Farrell, Keiha, and Cato.

POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION

The usual •weekly meeting of the Poverty -Bay Cricket Association was held jn tho British Empire Hotel last evening, Mr. W. F. Cederwall preskling.

Discussion took place on tho upkeep of the Tarulieru ground, .and it was eventually decided to devoto 8s per week to the preparation of the wicket.

The ground committee reported that the turf wicket would he available for play by (Saturday, 12tli- December.

It was] decided to obta in estimates iff cost of cricket 'hat's and caps, to be presented to tlio_winners of both the Saturday and Thursday competitions.
