NEW YORK, Nov. 29. The iron cage was blown 300 feet from the pithead at Marianua. "'t' A thin cloud of smoke is now issuing from both shafts. The heat compelled the first rescue & party to return. A State inspector had just completed a two days’ examination and found everything in perfect order.
