The Saturday championship matches were continued at the Domain and Taruheru on Saturday afternoon. At the former ground United scored a two-point win from Wanderers, while at Taruheru, To Rau recovered in. splendid fashion and gained a meritorious three-point win. UNITED v. WANDERERS.

United having lost five wickets on the previous Saturday for 81, commenced with the two not outs, Gibson and Hallamore, and the -deficit was quickly wiped off, the last wicket falling when the score had reached 1] 2. Wanderers then went -in again and quickly -rattled up 109 for 6 wickets, when they declared. With an hour and a-half to bat. To Rau continued with 5 wickets down for 15 runs in their second innings, and a fine stand was made between Moore and Mills, the latter playing strictly on the defensive. Monk and Moore also made another good stand, the innings being declared with 9 wickets down for 106. Mooi;e (56 not out) played a brilliant innings. Wanting 89 runs to win, Taruheru failed badly, and at ten minutes to six were all out for 26 runs. W. Lee-Archer -put up a phenomenal performance, getting 8 wickets for o ru-ns, the last seven being taken for nil. Te Rau also fielded well, and) won by 62 runs—a threepoint win. The former made 140 in t-lie -first 'innings -and closed the second with 115 for 6 wickets. Carisbrook made 70 and 129 for 7 wickets (Bannerman 57). Opoho beat Grange by 8 wickets. Opoko closed the first innings with 9 wickets -down for 244 (Kilgonr 100 not out), and made 12 for 2 wickets in the second innings. -Grange made 62 and 192. Carisbrook B heat Albion by 165 on the first innings. The former closed the first innings with 326 for 4 wickets, and made 58 for 7 wickets in the second innings. Albion made 161 and 237 (McFarlane 70). ,

AUCKLAND, Nov. 22

The third round of the Auckland Cricket Association’s championships was concluded yesterday in fine weather, and on good wickets. The senior grade matches resulted as follows : —Grafton V. University : Grafton, first Innings, 349. University 127 (Wilkes 28), and 73. M-ason took six wickets for 32 runs. Grafton won by an innings and 149 runs, thus securing a three-point win.

City v. Mt. Eden A: City 169 and 33 for 4 wickets. Eden A, first innings, 241 (Camming 44). Eden won by 72 -runs on the first innings, a two-point win.

Ponsonby v. Parnell: Ponsorfby 157 •and. 16S for 3 wickets (innings closed). (Hemus 01 not out). Parnell 162 (Sale 4S), and 82 for 2 wickets. Parnell won by 5 runs on the first innings.

North Shore v. Eden Colts: North Shore 327 and 124 for 4 wickets (Haddon 66 not out). Colts, first' innings, 222 (Rolf 89. Hines 51). Colts won by So on the first innings.
