REMOVES ITS SECRETARY

WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. The Wellington Trades and Labor Council to-night removed its secretary. Mr. W. H. Westbrooke, from office in consequence of an interview which appea-red in the “New Zealand Times,” in which Mr. Westbrooke expressed the view that Labor was committing tiolitioal suicide in severing its alliance with the Liberal x>arty.
