THE LICENSING BILL. INSPECTION OF CLUBS. United Press Association . Copyright (Received Nov. 8, 4.20 p.m.) LONDON, . Nov. 7. In the House of Commons, a Government amendment to the Licensing Bill, whereby a police inspector in plain clothes, upon producing a magistrate’s order, which is valid lor a week, is enabled to visit a club, specified in such order, was adopted after much opposition.
