MRS. KNOX’S BEQUEST.

AUCKLAND, Nov: 6. The trustees of the estate of tho late Mrs. Elizabeth Knox met to-day and decided that the residue of the estate, estimated at £2-5,000. should be utilised in the building and endowment of a Home for Incurables, which was the principal object ot charitv under the will and toward which "Mrs. Knox specially bequeathed £20.000. The sum of £45.003 will, therefore, now be available-from the Knox bequests for the purpose in view.
