IN pursuance of “’The Licensing Act, 1908,” I, Pereival Thom, Returning Officer for the Bay of Plenty Licensing District, do- hereby give notice that on the SEVENTEENTH DAY of NOVEMBER, 1908, the day appointed for taking the Electoral Poll of the electors of the Electoral District of Bay of Plenty simultaneously therewith, at the same time and place, a Licensing Poll will be taken upon the following proposals : (1.) Whether the number of licenses existing in the district is TO CONTINUE. (2.) Whether the number of licenses existing in the district) is TO BE REDUCED. (3.) Whether NO LICENSES are to be granted in the district. Nominations for the appointment of scrutineers in accordance with “The Licensing Act, 1908,” must be lodged with me not later than. 5 o’clock in the afternoon, on TUESDAY, the tenth day of November, 1908.
