ALL NATIONS FAIR.
Great activity was displayed yesterday afternoon in the Garrison Hall, where a band of workers was busily preparing for the fair in aid of the Church of England, to be opened this afternoon at 2.30. No effort has been spared to ensure the success of the undertaking. For this evening a concert has been organised hy Mr. A. F. Kennedy, wh has obtained the assistance of a number of leading musicians. Te Rangi Pai and Mr. A. F. Kennedy are to give an item from the “Mikado.” Te Rangi Pai will also sing “Lie's Recompense.” aeempanied by Mr. Piper. The overture will be performed by the Gisborne orchestra, and Mrs. Kennedy. Messrs Reynolds, Brown. lvissling, and* Adaiv will contribute vocal items. The concert is to begin at S pan.
