WELLINGTON, Nov. 1

The annual street collections for the -St. John’s Ambulance Association were made in Wellington yesterday. The weather was showery and oold, and no doubt jkeeping many people out- of the streets, and interfering with the collections. The total number of coins contributed was about 23,000, representing £290 1.7 s 4d. Last year the Ambulance Saturday effort resulted in £3lO being -gathered in. -
