THE MINTERO-WAIRUNA COLLISION. AN UNFORTUNATE MISTAKE. United Press Association. Copyright (Received Oct. 23, 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 22. The Court found that the MinteroWairuna collision was caused by the Mintero’s master thinking the Wairuna was an. anchored vessel. The mistake was discovered too late to prevent a collision. There was nothing to justify the certificate of either master being dealt with.
