• SYDNEY, October 10. Tlio following are the results of the final day’s racing at the A.J.C. spring meeting. The weather was fine and the attendance large. High-weight Handicap, s'x furlongs.—Empirical 1, Sea King 2, King Berry 3. A good finish, won by hulf-a-neck, with a head between second and third. Time, lmin 14] sec.
AVaverley Handicap, 13 miles. — Pharos 1, Alentmoro 2, Virtu 3. AVon by three-quarters of a .length. Time, 3mi-n ssec. Dowling Steeplechase,: about three miles. —Pilot 1, Confederate 2. There was no third. Pilot won by nearly,a furlong. Time, 7min; 3-sec. Alembers’ Handicap, 1 mile and a furlong.—King Bee 1, Beau Vive 2, AI alt our 3. AVon by half-a-length. Time, lmih 54]sec. Randwick Plate, 2] miles.—Peru-1, Lord Nolan 2, “Trentmoon 3. Other starters: Five Crown and Cross Battery. Five Crown got away, followed by Cross Battery, and the Jaftertook charge -passing the stand. The pace was very slow, and Peru joined the leaders at the half-mile, and entered the straight six lengths ahead of Lord Nolan. Peru from this out had everything his own way, and won by four lengths, with fifteen lengths between second and third. Time, 5 min G3sec. Final Handicap, 1] miles.—Mtmdoio 1, Proportion 2, AVee Laddie 3. Twelve starters. _ Won by half-a-length. Time; 2min 7sec. V.A.T.C. SPRING MEETING. NEAV ZEALAND HORSES SUCCESSFUL. The first race was a goqd start for the carnival, 28 runners participating. T-lie Debutante Stakes found al' running, and the Stakes had eleven runners. Following are the results: 1010 AVelter, seven furlongs-—N-u----slcha 1, Apple Pie 2, Barm 3. AVon bv a length. Time, 51]see. Caulfield Stakes.—Pinlc’Un 1, Post Town 2, Tulkeroo 3. AA r on by two and a-lialf lengths. Time, 56.(sec. AVyiina Steeplechase.-—Boisdale 1, Warfield 2, Findowrie 3. Won by five lengths. Time, 3min 57]sec. Mayo and Alelinito both fell and were killed.
Caulfield Guineas. —Parsee 1, Alawa 2, Bobby 3. Bobby led to the far turn, where he was overhauled by Parsee, who led into the straight and with plenty to spare by one and a-lialf lengts. Time, lmin 42Jsec. Toorak Handicap.—Soultlinw 1, Enchanteur 2, Carl Dour 3. Also started : Bobby. Soultlino led round the turn by three lengths from Enclianteur, and won comfortably by two lengths.
